According to Yoram E. Shamir this poster's narrative is as follows (read right to left top to bottom):
1) Zisling befriends the British
(During the British mandate Zionist cartoonists drew the British as thin tall men with a pipe)
2) Zisling befriends the Arabs
3) Zisling laments upon hearing on November 29, 1947 that the UN resolution establishes two states in Palestine - one Jewish and one Arab
4) Zisling is appointed Minister in the Provisional Government
Curator's note: November 29th is still celebrated by Palestinians as the International Day of Solidarity With the Palestinian People reflecting their continuous refusal to accept the UN's decision to establish two states in Palestine - one Jewish and Arab - on that day in 1947.
