The German-Arab graphic artist Burhan Karkutli understood himself as a Palestinian, although he came from a Syrian family, and was involved in the Middle East conflict with Israeli Palestinian politics
The poster, which was widely distributed, shows the cityscape of Jerusalem is full of mosques and churches, but without a synagogue. It seems to follow his fantasy of a city without Jews
