Strike for Palestine

Translation/Interpretation/Caption Text:

On November 28th in 1973, 2,500 Arab auto workers shut down production at Chrysler’s Dodge Main assembly plant near Detroit, in a historic wildcat strike called for by the Arab Workers Caucus. The strike resulted in the first ever “BDS” victory in U.S. history — successfully demanding UAW divest from their State of Israel bonds (over $300k purchased with union dues money).
