Curator's note: This poster is a take off on the United Colors of Benetton campaign. _______"I let out all my anger after the [Rabin] assassination," says Tartakover during a conversation in his home, in Tel Aviv's Neve Tzedek neighborhood, that also serves as his studio. "The end of the book includes the article by [Haaretz columnist] Ari Shavit, which I don't agree with, about my [1997] poster" - referring to the poster on which the words "We will not forget" appear on a photo of Yitzhak Rabin, while the slogan "We will not forgive" appears over Netanyahu's image. "I wasn't afraid to publish things that are critical of me as well. I don't know many people who produce a visual, and find themselves attacked by a major op-ed [also in 1997] in Haaretz."
