Artist's Statement

It was an honor to design this piece for the NACCS conference this year and I want to thank @liliasp12 and Kathy for asking me to work with them and trusting me to put something together that reflects where we are. Who knew a couple months ago when I designed it that we would be at a point where so many students across the country were talking action the way they are today. That these encampments would be part of our conversations, but I am proud to part of NACCS with so many Xicanxs that stand proudly with our Palestinian relatives. Que viva Palestina Libre.
